A festival just pushed its date from the last day of July to the first of August, and somewhere in that reshuffle every South African name fell off the bill. It is not the first, and it will not be the last. As xenophobic violence drives tens of thousands of Zimbabweans home, our music industry has quietly gone to war, one cancelled booking at a time.
